As part of our Japanese art collection we are delighted to offer this delightfully carved Edo period ivory Netsuke, the Netsuke depicts a Sennin , probably Tobosaku known as Peaches Sennin , he clutches a fruiting vine in his left hand whilst unfurling his curly locks of hair with the other , his long pointed beard flows over the fruit, a really nice tactile Edo period Netsuke , finely carved and a wonderful colour and patina, a minor expected age hairline or two, but no damage or restoration whatsoever !!
