As part of our Japanese works of art collection we are delighted to offer this large silver inlaid bronze Koro by the Kuroda Company of Kyoto , the heavy imposing Koro stands upon three squat legs and has been inlaid throughout its circumference with a flock of Manchurian Cranes , each Crane inlaid in fine detail with the use of mixed alloys ,including Gold and Silver , the pair of looped carrying handles are inlaid in Silver in a geometric key pattern, as is the rim of the lid, the lid is further decorated with a mixed metal geometric stylised Lotus band, and surmounted with the most charming finial depicting a pair of fine quality silver inlaid Terrapin , lifting the lid reveals the inner removable silvered liner, an absolute delight from a highly regarded factory and with the added bonus of an artists signature to one side .
The condition is superb throughout .
