As part of our Japanese works of art collection we are delighted to offer this finely painted Meiji Period 1868-1912  Satsuma plate by the highly regarded artist Seikozan Tsukuru, the main central panel is finely painted with a gilt central mon upon a mountainous landscape within a geometric diaper border, the sensational outer border painstakingly decorated with a traditional Daimyo procession within a key fret band , the paintwork on the numerous characters finely enameled and gilded, artist signed to the underside in a red and gilt seal, a fine quality Satsuma plate for your Japanese ceramics collection.
