As part of our Japanese works of art collection we are delighted to offer this super quality and fine condition Meiji period gilt bronze Samurai archer signed by the highly coveted Miyao Eisuke ,circa 1890, the Warrior stands poised for action, dressed in a highly decorative finely chiselled cloak, he draws an arrow through the bow whilst studying his target , he wears a Katana to his waist and a large brimmed protective hat covers his head , the archer stands upon its original gilt lacquered hardwood base and is signed in a gilt tablet to the rear of his cloak Miyao Eisuke, fantastic quality lifelike Okimono from arguably the most highly regarded factory of the Meiji Period .
