As part of our Japanese works of art collection we are delighted to offer this Japanese Meiji period (1615-1868) circa: 1890 Ivory Netsuke depicting Raiden, the god of thunder and lightning in Japanese Mythology, he is sat upon swirling clouds his legs crossed , he carries his drum in a sack tied around his neck whilst holding a fan in his right hand , a lovely subject and great addition to your Netsuke or Japanese works of art collection.
