As part of our Japanese art collection we are delighted to offer this fine quality okimono of a Rat clasping a Chestnut , this particular rodent has piercing blue/black Shakudo coloured eyes , a finely detailed coat and clutches a very realistic bronze Chestnut in his paws , the fine detail and overall quality puts him a level above the more common Rat Okimono that we see, he has a signature seal to the underside and a lovely patination throughout .
