As part of our Japanese works of art collection we are delighted to offer this Meiji period  (1868-1912 ) circa: 1880 Japanese Ivory Netsuke depicting a dancing Shojo, modelled wearing traditional robes, her hand holding a hat upon her head with her right hand holding a fan, she stands in a dancing pose with one foot raised and a humorous smile , artist signed to the rear in a three character signature that appears to read Rantei , however we suspect that to be a spurious although contemporary signature , we are therefore selling just as just a good subject Meiji period Netsuke , a perfect addition to your Japanese Netsuke or Japanese works of art collection.
