As part of our Japanese works of art collection we are delighted to offer this superb condition Japanese Silver mounted Cloisonne vase by the renowned Ando Jubei company of Tokyo and Nagoya , this fine late Meiji period vase is finished in a blood red ginbari ground with silver mounts top and bottom , the vase is further decorated to three sides in silver wires depicting a charming scene of native Birds flying amongst trailing Wisteria, the Wisteria pattern is further highlighted beneath the ginbari enamel ground , comes complete with its original hardwood stand and silk lined protective Tomobako (box) , the Jungin ( pure silver ) mark stamped to the silver foot rim.
