As part of our Japanese works of art collection we are delighted to offer this fine quality heavy Japanese Meiji period ( 1868 – 1912) bronze & mixed metal vase, the vase is simple in design with a pair of onlaid Shibuichi and gold geese coming in to land on a lake ,being lit up by the silver inlaid moon above , the water and cloud details picked out in a low relief bronze, this great vase is signed to the underside in a gold two character signature that we believe may read Chikayoshi .
