As part of our Japanese works of art collection we are delighted to offer this most charming Meiji Period (1868-1912) Satsuma okimono of a standing bijin, the beautiful lady elegantly stands in a richly decorated full length kimono predominately decorated with Ho-o birds within clouds, finely enameled in black with gilt highlights, her long jet black hair coiffured impeccably and fixed with a comb and other gilt adornments, a very serene free standing sculpture to enhance your Japanese ceramics or works of art collection. Apparently unsigned but undoubtedly in the manner of okimono from the Kinkozan studios.
