As part of our Japanese art collection we are delighted to offer this magical condition little silver bowl, the solid sterling silver bowl is double skinned and manufactured in the Art Nouveau style of the early 20th century, the heavy quality silver foot rim supports a body formed as Iris and water lilies against a hand planished background scalloped above the deep seated inner lining , the underside stamped by Miyamoto Shoko of Tokyo, Miyamoto were a high class manufacturer and retailer who held the distinction of suppliers to the Imperial household, a rare privilege at the time.
