As part of our Japanese Works of art collection we are delighted to offer two lovely Japanese Meiji Period Ivory Noh Masks, the first is of a Devil wearing a large grin, his eyes rolled up, his open mouth revealing his teeth and tongue, his eyebrows raised and stained for effect , this mask has been signed to the rear in a two character signature, the second is also stained and depicts a humorous traditional Japanese face with a large grin and again stained eyebrow decoration, to the rear it is carved with the mask ties forming the Himotoshi, also signed to the rear in a two character signature, a great addition to your Japanese netsuke collection.
