As part of our Japanese works of art collection we are delighted to offer this fine quality Edo period (1615-1868) Japanese Ivory Netsuke, the artist has captured the Netsuke realistically to depict a grapevine surrounded by leaves as if hanging from the stalk , the leaves trail to the back of the Netsuke around the Himotoshi with the front revealing the ready to harvest Grapes, it has aged well with a lovely mellow colour, a great addition to your Japanese collection.
