As part of our Japanese works of art collection we are delighted to offer this Edo period(1615-1868) Circa 1820, Japanese Ivory Netsuke depicting a comical little Monkey laid upon a Zabuton ( Japanese traditional floor cushion ), the artist has captured the moment the Monkey lays his head to rest upon the Zabuton his head resting upon one of his hands , the Himotoshi carved to the underside, a great addition to your Japanese works of art collection.
