As part of our Japanese works of art selection we are delighted to offer this charming Meiji period 1868-1912 circular lidded box artist signed by Toshiyuki , the lidded Kogo is formed from solid silver using an often seen Japanese double skinned method, the artist Toshiyuki has cast and chiseled an exquisite spray of chrysanthemum to the lid and continued the theme to the underside in very sharp and crisp detail, the delightful little box would make a charming gift for a loved one or an ideal modest priced addition to your Japanese silver or metalwork collection, nicely signed to the underside by the well recorded Meiji period artist Toshiyuki .
