As part of our Japanese works of art collection we are delighted to offer this fine pair of Edo Period 1612-1868, manufactured in the Arita kilns during the Genroku Period 1688-1704 , the dishes are painted in typical Imari palette with the additional use of vibrant turquoise, yellow and green enamels, each dish displaying traditional scenes of  ikebana upon terraces with formal borders of flora and screening, the underside decorated in a continuous floral band above a geometric border. a fine pair of period dishes to decorate your Japanese themed space or to add to your Japanese ceramics collection.
