As part of our Japanese works of art collection we are delighted to offer this nice quality pair of Meiji period 1868-1912 Bronze and mixed metal inlaid vases by the highly regarded Nogawa company , the unusual Gourd shape vases are delightfully inlaid in various mixed metals including Gold, Shibuichi and Silver , as an opposing pair you will note a small pair of red breasted Songbirds each stood upon a Bamboo pole and gazing at a spray of native Flora , each vase has been artist signed to the side and carries the Nogawa seal to the underside , a nice addition to your Japanese metalware or works of art collection .
